Project Surveys filters - Project Type

The new project template feature is nice, but we still can't use it in practice because it doesn't give us enough control. We use projects to manage multiple workflows such as customer onboarding, customer divestiture, training, and more. Each has a very unique set of questions that would apply in a survey. If we could create project survey templates based on the project type field, that would give us enough control to use this new feature.

We would like surveys on specific projects only. We be good to have some templates for different types of project work and apply appropriate templates when needed

adding a filter to send based on project type(s) would allow us to use this function. for me i would want to send out the same survey for all project types except for client offboarding. So the ability to select one or multiple project types to be included in the survey would make the project csat usable.

Brian Wilkey Thanks Brian, this is really interesting feedback. Do you have project types for each of those workflows you mention? And do your projects ever have more than one type?
Brian Wilkey
Eben Marks: Yes, we have a unique project type for each (ex: Onboarding, Offboarding, Major Implementation, Minor Implementation, Training, Web). Projects can only have one Type assigned to them. Ideally, with SmileBack, we would say something like: IF Project Status = 'Completed' AND Project Type = 'Onboarding' THEN Send Project Survey Template = 'How was your onboarding experience?'
