Make it possible to automatically send a response to a contact who provided a review. For example:

Send a thank you message to positive reviews
Send a prompt for a Google or public review to positive reviews
Tell unhappy contacts that you will be following up with them soon

Eben Marks: Hi, For all customers (irrespective of marketing permission), it would be good:

that for Positive smilebacks: one can enable to send an automatic thank you message
that for Neutral and negative smilebacks: one can enable to send an automatic email with a message stating that we would be contacting them to gather more feedback

Whenever you get a happy review with marketing permission, automatically respond to ask for a public review or recommendation. Please let us know in the comments what exactly you would ask your client to do.
